Windows Intune, tuning the IT

Today I had a short training on the cloud solutions and the impact Microsoft will have in IT Organizations in the future.

I was very impressed by BPOS (Business Productivity Online Suite), which I’ll be talking about later on, and Windows Intune.

Intune is an example of Platform services in the Cloud: basically it helps organizations reduce the cost of operational spending but also keep an eye of an increased/decreased IT demand (peaks, bursting, on & off, etc). It lets IT administrators use a simple console to do their job very easily: from deploying updates to stop malware threats (Microsoft® Malware Protection Engine), from manage licenses to inventory management and other relevant stuff.
